Waterway Route Slope Grade Definitions
One of the Observable Indicators of Effort Needed for a Route is the Grade/Slope of the Land. G2K Jal-Sethu uses Standard Definitions of the Grade/Slope Along the Waterway to Indicate Local Nature of the Land. This Page Documents Such Definitions.
Δh = rise
l = slope length
α = angle of inclination
As the above picture shows, the arcsine (inverse of Sin(α))
of rise/slope-length will be the angle of inclination, α.
G2K Jal-Sethu uses angle of inclination to identify the Standard Definition of the Grade/Slope
as documented below.
